About
Dr. Sarah Alsgaard is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner specializing in the treatment of major depressive disorder, anxiety disorders, bipolar disorder, OCD, PTSD, schizophrenia, ADHD & co-occurring substance use disorders.
Sarah earned her doctoral degree from George Mason University and joined the Durango community in 2017. Initially providing care with our local community mental health center, she started private practice in 2021. Her work focuses on creating a compassionate, collaborative & person-centered approach to psychiatry.
She is accepting new patients and is licensed in the states of Colorado and New Mexico. She is not accepting insurance and superbills are available upon request.
